I will always be grateful for their sacrifice, will we ever learn.

My father fought in the Battle of the Bulge in WWII. He had medals for his wounds and his valor...but he would never talk about any of it.

You can be very proud of your Father CatFinch, the wars left many men emotional cripples and I can understand why they cannot talk about it.

Thank you Ams...I have always been very proud of him. If he were alive his birthday would be on our Thanksgiving this year..the 27th of this month...I think we will have a special Thanksgiving this year in honor of him.
