Thanks Michaella, but I find it bothersome at times as I have to keep raking the fallen leaves in the yard around it...though its a good exercise for me!!

This tree is blooming all around San Diego right now. They are beautiful trees. It is also called Octopus tree because the flower stalks branch out like octopus tentacles.

Interesting Delonix1, yes I can see why its called an Octopus tree now, it does look like tentacles.
