Hmm. Sorry, BB. It's just that I heard more about the damage to other people's gardens today - one belonging to a 91 year old lady - so it's still on my mind!

Ooops sorry sure there will be someone in the village to help if damage too much for her .

BB - she's got hoofmarks like I have all over her lawn. The animals visited her twice - the first time she had about 9 I think, and our neighbour-farmer's mother who was with her at the time - also elderly but still works on the farm (!) - went dashing out and herded them out! Then, later, she looked up and saw two faces looking in her window! Not fazed at all, she went out with her stick and got them down her track and out, after which she shut her gate. How wonderful is that for an combined age of nearly 200?
