Shirley, how many varieties do you have? Do you grow them in a large area? They are beautiful...

My garden is small, so they are just poked in where there's a gap. I just love their crumpled silk petals as they open. I am a self confessed poppy nut. I had 3 Oriental poppies, a short stemmed scarlet one called Goliath, I think, this one and Picotee, a white with red edges, all grown from seed. (Picotee I think may have upped and died, as I did not see it this summer). A good excuse to get some more seed :-)
