Panther,
I had this plant growing in the front of my last house under a large tree. I love this plant it's called Dieffenbachia amoena - Dumb Cane. They can eventually grow to over 12 feet tall in time. They are commonly grown as house plants in temperate parts of the World.
There's many varieties available also.

Wow can they grown that high? Well the tallest one I have is about 4feet, but amazing how tall they can grow, yes they are grown as houseplants here too. Thanks for the botanic name again Delonix1:-)

You're welcome!
Yes, they can grow quite tall...generally, they need to be staked or grown close to a tree to attain a 12 foot tall plant.
They are commonly sold here as a 2 to 4 foot plant...however, sometimes they are sold as larger plants to 6 feet tall or so.
I'm sure in your tropical climate in a short period of time the plant will be 6 feet tall or taller.

Yes they do grow tall as well here Delonix1, but I haven't seen them to grow as high as 12 feet, but maybe in the forest they do. Interesting.

I thought I catch the sunlight behind this plant, am not too sure what its name is, but have lots growing around my compound. I did a bit of gardening yesterday, you may see leaves on the ground;-0
