Black tree

I don't know what kind of tree this is but the fall foliage looks black. When you get up close, the leaves are such a deep burgandy that they appear black from a distance. The sun is overhead so the shadow thrown by the tree makes the trunk look black as well. At first I thought the tree was burnt.

This is one of 4 restaurants we have in our little town.....you would not survive here....
