This is a great plant. I've never seen it before. When does it flower in the UK?

Is that what is also known as Silky Scarlet???

It flowers mid-late summer depending on weather, and the flowers last well. They also produce masses of seed, in 4cm long pods; the seed is attached to silky hairs, presumably to aid distribution by the winds.
Its known as silkweed

Ooo. I think then that this is the seed I just received from ebay. Looks lovely. I'm excited to see if my seed will grow. I am expecting it to live indooors in the winter time. It is lovely Gray. :o)
