Daughter had over 30 guests...luckily she was able to accomodate them well...loads of food..very nice time was had by all...my son is on the right in closest view and the one on the left is his father...my very ex husband of over 20years....we can be in the same room now...LOL.man in white shirt far back against door is son-in-law host husband of daughter...LOL

Feeding budgies and dogs is far easier. :o)

Ooer....30 yikes I have only 8 for Xmas and that's giving me nightmares already! ;o)

Every one brought food...and she did it buffet style...the oddest thing was...she and Todd were setting in the living room resting at the end of it...I had left to run my son and his family to catch a ferry and everyone was cleaning up etc, in the kitchen...she said after everyone left she and Todd went to get a peice of turkey...no left overs..not a scrap in site....they ended up with one leg of the turkey they roasted that had Todd had put in the fridge for his dog....Oh my goodness...I would have been furious... and hunted down who ever left with the last of it...there was piles of food there! She and Todd took it very well and have been teasing the family about it...his side were the last to go...they were the culprits...LOL...

Wow!! Luckily they did bring food with them! I think that is the best way to go about it, otherwise it can be a tiring affair trying to cater for everyone.
