Having numerous birds visiting our Bird feaders every day, the great Tit, and Blue tit regulars, we have very occasionally seen the little tiny coal tit the smallest of Britains tits. This little chap unfortunately flew into the french windows this morning and stunned himself. They are a very shy bird and not seen very often for that reason, this one was pleased to come into the conservatory to spend time with me while he recovered! They are so tiny!!!

I put stickers on my windows to stop birds flying at the windows and getting injured.
Did it when I first moved in.
A blackbird has broken its neck by flying in error at the window.
I was so upset, I put up stickers the same day.
Beautiful coal tit. :o)

Telme, I have posted a photo of a black-capped chickadee for comparison. I will delete it shortly as it is not my photo. Thought you might be interested. ~ Gilli
