This rose is growing in my Mother's garden. It was full of blooms this summer but needed some taming, it was taking up the whole depth of the border and smothering the plants growing in front of it.

Xela you are kept busy with several gardens to look after? I'm sure this rose will flourish after your pruning - look forward to seeing a summer photo!

This rose has been in my parents' garden for 18 years and invariably produces loads of flowers, I am praying it will do so again this summer despite my attack with the secateurs!
