Very nice, but I think if you had an employee gardener, this should be hidden under some shrubbery that you would direct pruning to. One of my employers deletes in hiding an attacking frog in shrubbery where I would come upon it.
I have been blessed to have the fortune to work for people with a wicked sense of humor. Sometimes I get back at them though. I found a box of old photos that I need digitalized. Marie, an orchid grower would often do things to me. Her Dobermans were sometimes included in the run.
One hot summers day (we have few of those), I had just finished working around her just finished pool. It was a Koi pond, and I had labored on it for months. Best news I found all the pictures from start to finish.
On this day, I saw her coming to the pond and I just slipped in clothes and all, floated facing up. Being a college swimmer I had good lungs. It was pay back time.
In the years that followed I had to clean that Koi toilet bowel on a weekly basis. I hated it.

Jacque,
Question on the title.
SLUG`s My New Hoggy Garden Ornament :)
Could you explain? My own Slug garden ornament was never created as my artist friend fled south. I had dreamed of me lashed onto this ferocious banana slug, stabbing away while it carried me off. Moby Dick!
He refused to draw it, or even make a T-shirt out of it. I love crazy garden ornaments. Eleanore has a sneaker like yours. It is a three segmanted concrete alligator that she placed in the lawn. Spooked the heck out of me.
Gardens sometimes need those Asterick/Exclamation points.
I gather that hedgehogs eat slugs. We only have a few snakes that do that ghastly job. The sight is disgusting. In retrospect that video would have made great appeal on U-tube today.

I believe moles and toads eat slugs too Skyline.

Gilli, you are right. I do know that toads and snakes eat them -- as well as other carviverous slugs. I don't know that about moles, but they do eat a lot of bad underground insect pests.
Then again, they eat worms. Hard to say the ecological worth balance. I do know I have to kill them in the gardens I work for. That is the only creature I ever go after.
I also try to introduce toads into every garden.

I think that they will have to be very large toads to stomach some of those banana slugs Skyline. Some of them are humongous!!
