Thanks Eileen - Amy, NO chickens for me - I think they like most plants, don't they? And wouldn't Henry have fun with them...

The chickens were funny Spritz , they use to come and tap on the back door for grapes they loved them , they always layed nice fresh eggs , but they did scrap the garden up ,mostly where bark had been layed as ground cover where they looked for grubs underneath ...... we wouldn,t have any more unless they stayed in a run !
the dog we had at the time didn,t take any notice of them .. other dogs would though ..........

I am as well Spritz , When we had a couple of chickens free ranging about the garden they loved these and would gobble them all up now they have gone to their coop up high in heaven I get to see them for longer ... lol
