Barney is very beautiful, Lori....I love his face...reminds me of boy but a shorter hair version...

My Barney-boy lived for 17 wonderful years... he had the softest fur, was the quickest hunter, the sweetest nature... he was a darling. Sadly he's been gone five years now... Found this picture and scanned it because I saw your pic of Boy, Skippy! I just love tabbycats. My son (age 7, at the time) took this picture of Barney in 1987. Barn was sitting patiently beside his bowl, hoping someone would notice it needed filling.

Aahh, he had such a kind looking face, a real sweetheart !

Aww - Barney has a lovely face - very gentle looking.

If there are Cat Angels...he's one! but don't think the mice or birds he caught would call him sweet and gentle...he was a real hunter...but he never scratched the kids or was owly with anyone...no matter how he was handled. He really had a cat's dislike of water though...many stories attached to that little peccadillo...lol.

I feel like that about my old girl, Goldie. She was such a loving and wise old thing. I really miss her.

Ah!!!!! Yes our shared love for Tabbys! Now I can see why~Barney was wonderful! I miss tiger too, losing him broke my heart but, you know what they say "Better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all".

There is always a need for good homes for cats... and when it comes right down to it... they aren't much trouble...just a yearly trip to the vet for shots, mostly... We could start the Goldie, Tiger, Barney Memorial Society for the preservation of Tabby Genetics...lol....
