New houseplant

I bought this plant in Lidl,s ,but it didnt have a name tag Can anyone help with a name please, now know to be Guzmania..

Janette I put a pic. of a Guzmania on a few days ago if you look at it , I got mine from homebase , it does look the same except that your middle part is much taller than mine .......:0)

Oh I have this plant and in this color, too, it is a guzmania, we call it a bromeliad...yours is gorgeous!

Dont pitch it if the flower goes, it'll have babies around the sides. :-)

The flower on mine lasted for ages and yes, finally, it went...but it does have babies around the sides! I'm hoping it will eventually flower again.

I have here the Lidl catalogue for this week, with photo of your plant.
Underneath is says choose from Spathiphyllum, Tillandsia, Guzmania and more.
Any of those three your one ?
I'll try googling them for you.
Leaves and flowers look like Guzmania.
What do you think ?
