Autumn acer glory

Browsing through our photo archives we came across this view of our upper garden. As winter deepens, its good to remember how colourful autumn can be.

The green acers are often the most spectacular in the autumn.

What a view. This looks fantastic. Due to a prior comment, I see that these are archive photos....lol. Seems we're all looking for a little color this december.

I would edit out the guy at the end of the patio. The rockwork looks great.
Very different garden format from here. My perspective USA

I see a lot that needs to be maintained in that garden. Can I apply?

Our blog 1 & 2 show what the garden used to look like. Yes, we maintain the garden throughout the year. The busiest times are spring and autumn, though pruning conifers mainly goes on throughout the winter.

The tiered basket of yellow pansies comes into its own during the winter and spring months.

Fourseasons understood my edit. You will take note, that I would never take a picture of my own garden and post it. To much to edit out, I fear.

I do have a comment on the title. All of our leaves have dropped or are about to. However, the last glorious Maple to come into fall color was Acer rubrum 'October Glory.' This large maple is unmatched in my opinion. It is near always preferable to buy a 'named' cultivar.

I am glad that Teratoonie deleted the secateur catch. I think I may have met my match with Fourseasons.
