Moose and Baby

Moose and Baby

A little in the trees but I just love it still. Moose are on the roads, in your yards, eating your gardens....lol.

Thank goodness for that Greenthumb you had me worried for a moment, I thought I must have imagined it....it was rather late.

I can relate to that photo.

This old moose, once sat next to this beautiful gal from Newfoundland. It was at an American Rock Garden symposium. I made small talk, and finding out where she was from, I gallantly added some Newfie comments. Jeesh what do you grow, ice flows, moss and primroses? Just then my friend John edited my brilliant commentary, by kicking me in the shin. Sharply, I might add.

In the next moment The Creator chimed in. The speaker announced his great privilege in welcoming the curator of the Newfoundland Botanical Gardens.

I am sure that if the opportunity arose again, I would say the same to an Alaskan gardener.
Not all just moose up there, at all.

I sure hope that there are no Newfoundalnd members in GOY!

I shall have to repay you with what a Vancouver BC reporter had to say. He came back from L.A. and sat next to a L.A. traffic cop. Their conversation strayed to her neck of the woods. Hoods and traffic jerks. etc.

He replied that they had the same problems in Vancouver. She replied, "How can that be, with all that ice up there."

Nope, no speeding in Vancouver at all. That ice sure does slow it down. Same for those mush dogs and all those Canadian Moose stops. :-)
