Aloe arborescens - Common Aloe Plant

This is the most commonly planted Aloe in Ca...by the millions.

Wow, I've seen aloe, but never blooming. Very pretty. Are the flowers like Red-Hot Poker (Kniphofia)?

The flowers of Aloe plants are very similar to Kniphofia.
