lol fingers crossed this one lasts a wee bit longer Clarice. i have to admit im useless with house plants but they were selling these off cheap this morn and thats why i bought this and a succlent

Asplenium nidus - Bird's-Nest Fern can eventually grow very large even in a pot. I know here they grow in the ground and can have fronds more than 6 feet (2 meters) long. They love a lot of water.

I had a big one of these but it got left out in the frost when I moved. :(

thanks for the advice on this plant Delonix. the pot it is in now is tiny so ill repot it asap.

You Bird's Nest Fern is very healthy looking...I bet it'll grow fast and well for you. They are one of my favorite ferns...especially when they get large.
The only problem about growing this fern here is that the snails absolutely love to eat the fronds.

thanks for that warning Delonix, ill have to put copper bands around the pot or something to protect it from the snails so

I bought a friend one of these afew years ago, it looked really nice & well, with in about a month it was dead, i thought thats last time i buy her any plants.
