There are many Queensland Kauri trees here in the parks...they tend to grow more conical and then branch out wide. This tree did stump me because I wasn't sure if it was Agathis robusta...it could be a New Caledonian species. Although the leaves can be quite large on Agathis robusta with a dark rough trunk. I'll have to research this further...you've got me thinking.
