Did you use rain water to water it in when replanted ?
Let's hope it recovers.

I don't see that much wrong with the plant. Wait until you see some of Mary Ann's rhodies after a severe freeze. The leaves head south until they are parallel to the stem. Blackened sometimes, but always come back.
Rhodies are tough! One year I came across a dump of them, behind the Post Office. It was re-landscaped and all the mature plants were simply disposed of. This was in summer. I came across them in the fall. I threw some of them in my truck and gave them to Mary Ann. We planted them and they all survived. No water all summer, roots exposed and on concrete.

thank you all for such encouraging comments, it is just such a lovely colour, like a deep burgandy, when it flowers would hate to loose it, and no TT did'nt use rain water, but i think it has had more than it's fair share since lol. and thanks Skyline, think i will give it some protection as recently moved, i have'nt protected any of the other ones i have, and i do have quiet a few, and they are fine, so hopefully just sulking a bit, but will get over it in time for spring lol.
