30 years! Amazing. I live in the desert and I realize how slowly these things grow naturally but I admire your patience in caring for it tnat long. Welcome to GoY....Hywel, another GoY member has a huge assortment of cacti and he has had some since he was a young boy...
The flower is very beautiful and worth the wait...

"Aztekium ritteri" from North east of Mexico. It grows only 2mm per year.
