Thanks that did not come to mind. Very cool how it twisted. The weather man just said on the TV news here in Alberta Canada it is -27c or -20f sound cold? yup it is and factoring the wind chill it is - 36 or -25f right now OUCH!

now I'm going to give away my age a bit... during the 70's and 80's our winters mimicked that some. Our worst being the winter of 78-79. You can keep it...I don't want it back.

Heck gran I could go back to the 60's, can not remember too much of the 50's well I do not think I cared much about weather just when my next feeding and changing was going to take place. I'm also a gran twice now.

My body and I argue constantly about how old I am...How dare it try to tell me my real age...I'm guessing I'm only a couple of years behind you in age. I haven't hit the 50 mark yet but I'm in the home stretch. lol

How did a photo of old tree roots turn into a blog about aging??? That's what I love about GoY - these conversations are so interesting. After my wrist op last month, my orthopedic surgeon wrote to my GP about me and said "She appears much younger than her stated age." That made my day until I began to wonder what infantile act I had perhaps performed inadvertently...

I think it is funny how conversations go whether blog or real life. There's been a few times I and the person I'm talking to try to track back to how we got on the current subject when the first subject had absolutely nothing to do with it.
