Cable car station

~no where near the edge TT!Scary and fantastic at the same time!That cable car whizzes up there!

I'm not good with heights. LOL
Is this in South Africa ?

i'm not good with heights either~ it was a major undertaking getting me up there in that cable car!This is from the top of Table Mountain.

~from 1085 metres at the highest point it is quite a wave!

nope...I will not be taking this ride...I was in tears when I had to cross a high point at the Grand Canyon....and had to hold onto David's pockets to get back across and begged him to not stop...as we traversed our way over the same spot on the way back...the funny thing was...there was a man on the other side when I went over clinging to the wall and laughing and in tears to see me doing the same thing he had done...we were both in tears when I finally got to the other side and grabbed David's hand who had walked across like a Mt.goat of course.

~ I said I would so I did! Gary's father and his Gran and Auntie in their seventies were all in the party~there were eight of us so in way that made it better~It is the fastest ascent you can imagine and I sat well inside whilst the others all stood at the windows!

HOLY MOLY!

Did you have to hold onto everything in site so you did not feel as if you were going to fall off?! Unless I grow wings..I doubt I will ever feel comfortable with very high heights....! All though parasailing has a certain appeal to me when I watch them off my bluff floating back & forth with the Eagles here.

~There are seats in the middle with a very large metal pole to cling to as it hurtles up and down! It was very quick which is a blessing!we also saw paragliders~i am not sure if that will be even worse!

I am talking about when you got off at the top...did you go into that building to have a look around? That is where I would have been feeling dizzy and wanting to hold on for dear life too...and in the hurtling car as well!

~the building is the docking station and you are out and into the sunshine before you know it~the top is vast and there are paths and a shop so although you can get the most amazing view you don't have to go too near the edge if you don't want to!

Wow..., what an amazing view ! Glad you took a picture of it for me to see, I would have had my eyes shut the whole time...lol
