A Bure is a fijian home made of thatched leaves and sticks, the flooring in a bure is covered with dried mossy grass and clean mats are placed over them. It can be very cozy and comfortable to sit and sleep on, imagine just rolling over a cushioned floor!!:-)

In the villages where they have Bures is how they live Pf, a very simply lifestyle, I'm sure you will be well liked here in your willingness to change the mats regularly, lol, normally the women folk are always involved in this chore.
These pics I posted is not my home, it's a small resort called Uprising Resort.

Is this how you live? I can not imagine living that way here. My poor furnace has been running all day for 3 months now! Need a room mate? I promise to change the mats with out being told on a regular basis.
So tropical. come see my back yard!
