Conifer bed in January.

This is it's first winter for my little conifer bed. They look at home in these conditions.

Happy as clams. It looks good.
I will really have to look into what conifers can take it here. I don't see many.

On our trips to very cold places such as Siberia I see a lot of deciduous such as birches. I also see big pine trees and larches of course. I can't remember too many smaller ornamental conifers, but that could be because it's not their tradition to grow ornamental garden trees. Some research needed I guess.

Oh, these look great in the snow. A great mixture of colours.

They look just fine out there in the cold. It looks very nice.
