This is the 6125 square metres of land we have, before the building of the house. Lots of plans in progress! Yes - I cut all that grass with the 16-inch mower!!!!!

Dare I ask how long it took you to cut that grass?

First cut of the year has to be done by a local farmer - hence the big hay-rolls you can see. After that, each cut takes me three to four days. Until we move here permanently, I can't really have a ride-on mower. In any case, they're expensive here.

February 28th '09 - Temperatures in the low 20s, so I've just started mowing again, as I don't want the grass to get to a length that needs the farmer to cut it. Luckily, it's not been so wet this year, so it's still short.

It looks like you have a lovely piece of land to work with Graham.
Welcome to GOY.
I think a bigger mower might be in order !! LOL. At least it's a Honda.
