The Trench

A beginning. I've created a trench in which I have planted apple trees and blackcurrants and redcurrants. On the other side are the Leylandii, that will eventually (!!!) screen the rear half of the plot. The soil is well-drained and fertile, though I intend to add more organic matter later on. Next comes the vegetable garden......

Your fruit trees and bushes will be lovely. Sounds like you have good soil to work with.
