Sorry we don,t like pigeons in our garden there are so many and they are waiting in the morning when we feed Snowball, Charlie and other friendly ones, the pigeons come in flocks and gobble up every thing in sight :o(

Lovely photo Eileen....The pigeons are a real pest here too Amy especially when planting in the spring, everything has to be netted until the plants get big enough to survive them.

Pigeons are known locally as flying rats and they are pests. We've got several in the garden and they scare the shyer birds. We've called one Plodzilla - he's huge and you can actually hear him coming down the path!

I have the same problem Amy I get them in flocks and they are so greedy dont leave anything for the other birds Great photo Eileen ,I dont mind sending you some of the ones we have here either ....

i think they all seem to be around that pot cos its near the kitchen door BB and some days its just so cold that i stand and throw some food for them there

Thanks Eileen really quite unusual to get a goldcrest so close to you .
Must be your cooking Eileen little birds love it.The big fella doent seem to be doing too badly on it either .

Mind you have ever seen him fly ? reminds me of those magpies with Jacques rice pudding...lol
