Rainbow

I love the contrasts of light in this picture, the white of the (hawthorn?) against the dark sky and the rainbow separating the storm from the calm, the double rainbow was a bonus. I rushed home to take this picture and dig for the elusive pot of gold, but was more than content with capturing the moment on camera.

lovely picture, love rainbows! the taller of the white-flowering whatevers looks like a different tree (shapewise) from hawthorn, unless of course someone pruned it sometime. The other bits to the left might even be blackthorn, I don't know. I think that blackthorn is the one that flowers before any real leaves show- ?
