Ferns starting to take over! I have dug out most of the ferns on the left and replaced with climbing roses and thinned out the other ferns. This garden looks lovely in spring, covered in forget me nots, I'll add a photo of it soon in full splendor.

Thanks everyone. Milky, we felt like garden gnomes swamped by all those ferns!
The roses have replaced the ferns, but no sign of any flowers. Lots of long stems with healthy shoots. Is that normal, should I prune them or just let them grow long and tall?
