The frogs have loved the 'wet' this year.

The 'frog song' at night lately has almost rivalled the 'cicada song' during the day - almost but not quite! The cicadas can drive you to distraction out here in the summer - sometimes we have to retreat inside, close the doors and put on the air-conditioning just for a quick break from it.

Yes I much prefer this visitor and his friends than the cane toad. The cane toads jump into the fish pond out in the courtyard and then can't figure out how to get out again so they die in there - which can be very very smelly.
