My waterlogged Heliconia pot plant

we are expecting heavy rain and gale for winds over here this weekend

Well keep safe Irish. We've had severe flooding on the western side of the island, rather disasterous too!!! One of the worst on record, shops and homes almost completely underwater. Luckily it missed us, though we're getting so much rain as well.

It looks OK as a submarine plant at the moment, but...

Poor people who have really suffered. I feel so sorry for them - it sounds horrific.

LOL to submarine plant!!!Yes I am ok thank you very much Spritz and Marguerite, I am in the capital Suva, we weren't affected.The flooding happend on the other side of the island some 4 to 5 hours drive away. Indeed sad how people lost belongings and homes etc. I just hope no diseases get to us too!

its bad again here now Panther, heavy rain again and gale force winds

we are also having high winds and heavy rain through until tomorrow morning~hope none of our fence panels blow down!
We are high up so won't suffer flooding!
