it's a Schlumberga - well, that's the name we all used to be allowed to use! I believe they are known as Epiphyllums now. I wish they'd leave names alone...

it is annoying Spritz, its like when supermarkets change the lay out of their shops and it takes you twice as long to get around

wonderful...we have a member on goY who has an heirloom Schlumbergera...been in his family 60 yrs.! almost the same colour as yours! check out Mikec's pics... I wish I had a conservatory...seems to be the perfect facility for these wonderful plants to perform their best.

this is the Christmas Cactus or Holiday Cactus,Schlumbergera. in Romania,has a name like Christmas Little Flower and this is a splendid one.congrats Gardenan

I am surprised that the Christmas cactus is doing so well in the conservatory. My Mum had one for years but when she moved she put it in the conservatory which she did not have in the old house,and all the leaves turned a redish colour, we thought it was too much light. I understand they do not like being turned or moved, is that right. Must say yours is a beautiful example
