i took these photos after a storm we had Novice.
its gone all dark again so i dont think the storm is over yet. gusts of over 100 kph and heavy heavy rain

We,ve had rain not nice at all a very cold wind as well !

Oh Eileen today he was on a high branch near his drey,nibbling bark as nesting material to take in for Twiggy..then took some monkey nuts in for her...they know when bad weathers coming dont they ? The drey is deep among thick ivy,so should be cosy !

Awww no...you take care Eileen..so with these high winds are you getting blizzards too ? Think some of that lovely Jewish chicken soup the order of the day !

dont think it will last as snow, i think it will turn to rain again soon.

You keep saying you cant cook,neither can i so think we could cobble some up between us LOL That said your kids sound healthy for someone who couldnt cook lol

Eileen we love nothing more than a good old fashioned stew,with mash.And dumplings if lucky ! Jane makes enough so that next day have stew and oven chips.It tastes even better second time round !!

nothing nicer than a big bowl of stew and your right it always tastes nicer the next day

And the next...and the next..and the next....it went on forever in the old days !

~my family love dumplings with most things including as a minced beef topping!
We have got rain and gales too so not going anywhere in a hurry but earlier it was quite nice~I gather this is set for most of tomorrow and Monday~has it stopped snowing Eileen?

~just checked with the met office and they are giving snow and rain off and on tonight and tomorrow~crazy weather!I t sounds as though it will be moving across frm you to me!
