Why walk round....

when you can climb over? The tortoises clamber over each other like this constantly so I keep having to check that none of them has fallen over. Often they can right themselves but not always so its a bit worrying when they are so active.

It wouldn,t do for them to be upside down for to long .. !

You must have your work cut out Gee keeping an eye on them.Dont suppose they can right themselves if they end up on their backs ?

They are nice and cosy under their heat lamp, Donnah, but do venture out and wander all over the place when they are warm enough. They are not so much rude as bad mannered!
They are hard work at this time of year (and very messy!) I look forward to lovely warm weather more than most I think. I get through a lot of old newspapers per day. You're right, they do have difficulty putting themselves up the right way unless they have something to push against.

LOL. I guess when you are a tortoise going around takes a lot longer than going the short cut over the top.
