Just waiting for my bulbs to grow.....

I am feeling extremely fed up with winter today - I can't take it any more!

Think positive! The snow will clear - eventually and the rain will stop over here - eventually and then we can all moan that we are too hot in the summer (with a bit of luck!)

I'm with you Gillian. I'm going crazy here too. Just start planning your spring garden. You could have a trip to the garden centre and stand in the middle of their indoor plant section. I've done that to feel better a few times. Make sure you have plenty of lights on at home. You need the light to feel better.

I've been so miserable because we haven't even have sun for the past few days, it does help a bit when it's brighter.
Mike has said he will take me to the botanical gardens at Hamilton today to cheer me up - I don't think he can stand me this miserable! It's quite a sacrifice for him to offer this because he's not really into gardening!

Oh that is good to hear Gillian. The gardens will cheer you up no end. I don't think I've seen the sun here for weeks and its only the past two days that I've been able to see the mountains. We've had an inversion in the valley for ages so the cold air stays down and the warmer air over top holds it in causing fog and clouds etc. Most days I have lights on all over the place. Our hydro meter is spinning at breakneck speed.
