A good snow cover

Our garden is grateful for a good snow cover in winter - it's an excellent insulator. It's much worse when the ground freezes bare, I feel so sorry for the plants. But it's amazing how they survive. As you see, we are at the top of the hill - the view is to the north, into the valley and away from the ocean. We love this view as much as the ocean views.

Great for X-country skiing and snowshoes. And it stays so clean, just bird and animal tracks.

How disappointing for her... BC weather is so fickle. My son lives in Port Moody and has never seen so much snow there as they have had this winter...

Spectacular view. And how nice to have it all to yourself.
