Just look at the cats tail......that cockerel is huge, never seen one as large as that before.

Everyone goes on about Smeagols tail it is soooo bushy, he's gorgeous and very affectionate if not mischievous and great for keeping the rat numbers down, where there's chickens or any livestock, there's rats. As for Hagrids bloomers, this is a typical characteristic of a Brahma cockeral, along with the feathered feet. The cockerels have an air of majesty about them while the females (especially when strutting along are highly amusing due to their clumsiness, kind of wobble from side to side and when they run, as you can see with Myrtle in picture above, well.... its hysterical.
