Lovely photograph Arlene. They really are funny when they have never experienced it before. Sophie jumped off the step yesterday and was suddenly in about 10" of snow. Came in with snowballs hanging all over her.

LOL , I remember my old dog looking like that Ginellie . He use to like to catch snowballs as well Jacque :o)

he's very bright BB ~he has a toy box and he will go over and get the one he wants even if it at the bottom and then sit and play with it by himself~although he loves it if you join in!

my dogs love the snow. Scrunchion digs away in it, like it was soil.
They both love cathching snowballs in their mouth to eat like your Summer, Jacque...One will get jealous if the other has had a few in a row!

seeing this photo reminded me of the dogs on the hillside when it snowed here. They were rolling in it and running around enjoying themselves.
