Glory Lily.

What timing! I'm giving a talk tomorrow night on the Flowers of South Africa at a local Garden Club. This is one I shall be including. I saw it growing wild three years ago in very sandy soil just yards from a beach which gives a clue it likes well-drained conditions

What a beauty....I have one in the greenhouse but for some reason it didnt flower last year, dont know what I did wrong but will try it again this year.Good luck Andrew........

Hi Milky, I tried one inthe greenhouse a few years ago and although it started into growth it didn't do much else. The one in the picture was started in the greenhouse but was then transfered to the garden.

I might try putting it out then Toto...........

It's lovely. Is it difficult to grow?

No GilliI found it quite easy but that may have been just luck.

I love these, they're so beautiful and remind me of orchids.
