This was a bit of a zoom shot as they are shy this time of year. There's plenty to eat - lots of sunflower seeds under the feeder, and lots of rose hips and other berries about. I'm sure they have a lot stored away too, if they can remember where...

Red squirrels are fighting extinction here in the UK due to the introduction of grey squirrels that carry a pox disease.
