This robin is a fierce little bird - he chases all the others off the bird table - and runs at them on the ground, too - he is definitely in charge!

Thank you BB - but I tried to get him when he turned round - no luck! You can just about tell that he IS a robin, can't you!

Definitely a robin pose! A bit late for a Christmas card, but you could save it for next December :)

Oh dear, Greenthumb, I am sorry to disappoint you - it's not Tarragon - it's part of a Penstemon battered down by the snow! I don't think it tastes like a herb. :-(

Lovely photo Spritz. I can tell he is a robin...you can see a little flash of red at his throat.

oh bless, we have one just like him that runs things in our garden too. he is also very brave, he will sit on the handle of my folk in between my digging and weeding and dive down and swoop up any worms that have the misfortune to be dug up

lol, Looks just like my tarragon! I ate some anyway.....lol :-) I'll have to remember to plant penstemon in a different spot than the tarragon...lol :-) I knew I was really venturing out on a guess. :-)

fantastic picture. I have a wire sculpture of a robin complete with red breast sitting on the egde of a pot and every now and again the resident robin knocks it off. she clearly is keeping tabs on her teritory. she regulary harangues me when i'm digging to throw her worms etc. she has raised 3 broods in the garden over the last couple of years. I know its her as she has a wjite feather at the back of her head.
