Absolutely lovely. As you said on one of your comments, they don't look much like our British robins although they do have a red chest in common. Youve certainly captured the little fellow very well. It's a beautiful photo. Please keep posting them.

How big is he? He appears to be larger than a UK robin.

He...is a good sized bird......not sparrow like...more flicker sized I would say...or Thrush..I think Gilli said they are of the Thrush family.

They are part of the Thrush family Cj. Their song is a bit like a blackbird. He is about 8" I would say.
