Another honeyeater spotted out and about today!

This is the Blue-Faced Honeyeater and while it does eat nectar and fruit from our native plants, it mostly eats insects - which is what this particular bird is doing.

Hi Tasteyg. No I'm a long way away from the bushfire disaster zone - that's down in Victoria and there's still around 30 fires of different sizes blazing away. It's hard to imagine the scale of the disaster - the loss of human life, wildlife and property.

We are lucky to be surrounded by so much wildlife - the bird calls in the morning are an absolute delight!
