Early flowering Scented Clematis which is very easy to grow.

That is beautiful Toto, have you got it in a very sheltered position. Im in Essex and the 1st frosts killed mine.......

I've given mine no special care. It grows on a east facing fence and it's buds are bursting at the moment. It is also evergreen but shares it's position wirth a golden hop which takes over as the Clematis fails. I don't know how big it grows as I cut it back each year to allow the golden hop to have it's chance, then I cut back the hop later in the year to let the Clematis take over

Very pretty. I have had no luck with clematis at all - I'll have to look out for this one. How big does it grow?
