I like this begonia - where do you get your tubas from - the garden centre just seems to do red, white and yellow and a few hanging basket types.

The named Exhibition tubers aren't available in most garden centres. I have purchased tubers from Begonia specialists such as www.blackmore-langdon.com which seems to be the biggest begonia specialist. Another is Bellcross Nurseries, East Yorkshire. If you're interested i am a member of The National Begonia Society, some other growers often make up lists which they send out, a number of my tubers were purchased this way. Once i have a particular variety i always keep plenty of cuttings of it as they can be expensive to replace.

I potted up my begonias and they seem to get really tall - I have to support them with canes and string. A couple of bits came off in the wind and they have now rooted (in water) is that how you root your cuttings?

I always add a cane once the Begonias are planted into the final pot, I tie it with the string later once the plant has grown.
Cuttings, personally i use multipurpose compost mixed with vermiculite - 50/50, in small two inch pots, and then pot on once they've filled the pot with root. Most growers seem to do things slightly different from each other, i tend to find - if it works stick with it!
