Thanks everyone!! ....I marvel at how little I had to do with all this loveliness....If any goY members want a quick spring pick-me-up...buy some Amaryllus!
This is "bouquet"...A.Maria Goretti is just starting to branch buds...but the Picotee is growing lots of tall flower spikes and leaves can't wait for them to start...time to start looking for easter lilies. :-}

(...and I can't have sugar...boo hoo...) I just love nice thin crepey pancakes with butter and maple syrup!!! and a nice strong cuppa Typhoo.... mmmmm...now that's breakfast! LMAO.....! I knew I could count on you to join in the celebration with me Lori, and you do a mean ' do si do' too I might add ! Roger's parents have a sugar maple in their yard too, and the sap is literally dripping out of it. A red headed woodpecker has laid claim to it too, couldn't believe it would let us get within 2 feet of it and it didn't fly away, just kept eating...lol. I was beginning to wonder if the sap made him drunk and brave like alcohol. Decided to start the greenhouse up this weekend, found out today I was going to be out of work again all next week, so I'll have plenty of time to get everything planted, and have time to spare for mulching the garden too. Also laying flooring in the livingroom, you're starting to rub off on me Lori...lol I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew this time..;-)

OH I'm so proud of you, Jerrie! Go for it! It's not as hard as it's cracked up to be...and when you're done you can stand back and say: "I did it!" So far I have put down ceramic, floating floor (click floor), parquetry and tongue and groove... so I can tell you with certainty You Can Do It!! and do a good job too. little bites!
Has the RH wp fallen out of the tree yet? I know that robins get loopy from eating fermented fallen fruit... but a drunk woodpecker is an absolute hoot! When we lived up north there was a wp who loved to drum on the soffits of our house...(they were aluminum) ... no accounting for taste! maybe he had a mineral deficiency... ? or maybe he'd been imbibing of some fermented sap!!!?
