I had one cat who hated orange peel. The others didn't mind it. It might be worth a try.

I tried it last year and seemed to work but I have just put another sonic alarm in my back garden - makes 2! as my lawn seems to be the neighbourhood cats' toilet!

It's strange you're plagued by cats. I've never had that trouble. My cats have always chased any intruders away. Blodyn aswell - she won't let any other cats in the garden.

no i never had this problem with Socks our old cat, but Toffee seems to be a wimp! there is one in particular an old ginger and white tom called Jasper and he struts up the garden as if he owns it and Toffee just creeps past him they have fought (hence the Toffee is missing blog) but he seems to come off worse, this cat moved here when Toffee was younger so i think its just taken over and is looked upon as the 'Boss', i chase him off if i see him, can you just see me Hywel running (ha ha) up the garden with a water pistol? gives the neighbours a laugh if nothing else!!
