Yes Jacque I took this picture through a long telephoto lens. Took this pic a while back. Boy! you're up late (?) - I'm off to work in a few minutes.

Yes Tasty the moon is the same size whether is rising or high up. This is an optical illusion - very romantic but just an illusion.

Thanks Chloris. I know that this site is about gardens but our garden is just recovering from the summer heat and is just getting ready to flower for the autumn and winter so no nice flower pictures as yet.

Summer heat Spritz ? Glad its almost over for this year. Then we can complain about the winter cold (?) all 12 to 15 C, during the day, on average!!
