Pink trumpet

Remember having this one a few years ago ...such a lovely climber for late summer in Spain....and the flowers are so like Streptocarpus...nearly identical!

That's what I was thinking Janey...Streptocarpus! Lovely plant or is it a tree?

I love this vine...it is widely grown in Southern California. I used to grown it also at one time. It's called Podranea ricasoliana - Pink Trumpet Vine from tropical Africa. I know when I grew it...it grew extremely fast.

Don't be embarrassed! You got the name correct...it's called Pink Trumpet Vine. You're doing very well identifying your posted plants.

Hey Janey, can't you raise those where you live now?
I know your feeling about flowers from a place you've lived once... every june when tulips start appearing in the flowers market i feel my heart tight... and a huge missing of Chicago and the tulips in the spring.
